Xenoblade universe notes
These are notes I've taken during one of my playthroughs of Xenoblade. Mostly to help me remember things about the world and they're obviously Shulk centered, though there's a couple of things about other characters, too.
Also, to note, the translation to the story that was printed in Monad: The Secret Files can be found here.
Homs
[this is Homs knowledge of the world btw]
- Ether makes machines run and the street lamps light up
- also causes no pollution (suggesting they had some other power source before. Wood?)
- all weapons contain a catalyst that reacts with ether, which is how we have access to things like healing arts
- stars are considered bits of ether that have risen from Bionis' body, the sun is considered to be made of ether, too
- ether lamps are used by traders as guide posts
- ether works against Mechon perfectly fine
Colony 9
- Dickson is the commander of the soldiers and scientists (of the Defense Force), but since he's away a lot, Colonel Vangurre(sp?) is usually left in charge.
- mostly untouched in the war 1 year ago. (Far more protected than Colony 6) mostly because of the anti-air defense systems that are up 24/7?
- Dunban's house has a lot of herbs and spikes (a whole string of chilli + herbs are hanging from the rack). 3 chairs set at the table so it's likely they have Shulk/Dickson/Reyn visiting fairly often? Or is Shulk living with them? IDK where that kid lives when he's not in the lab. Photograph of the Colony(?), possibly from the Park
- THERE IS A GIANT BIRD ON ONE OF THE ANTI-AIR BATTERIES
- Mag Mell Ruins is High Entia tech
- the delivery nopon and their armus doesn't seem to have a house, they just sleep out on the central plaza
- Hazzai Cape is used as a test of courage but no one goes through with it. Apparently Reyn tried and got messed up bad.
- salty melon (from Frontier village) is apparently very popular back in Colony 9, but for a very brief time...
Colony 6
- Raguel Bridge was built around the same time as Colony 9's foundation
Shulk
- wears a necklace that's the same design as Dunban's?
- residents are aware of Shulk and what he does (some are due to the fact he's Dunban's friend)
- (likely) part of equipment R&D scientists for the Defense Force
- he's mended Narine's toy before
- and he's mended Desiree (who has lots of accents on her namefjsjdf)'s watch before. Shulk's familiar with her father's work with machinery (possibly knew him through the Defense Force). It sounds like he's chatted with Desiree quite a bit, but he's not really close enough to her dad, since he doesn't make the connection between the Xord and her father.
- Rocco knows Shulk
- seems to have worked a fair amount with Dean
Bionis' Leg - " Gold Dust Illusion - A starry-eyed Shulk named this. A sand that shines a beautiful gold."
Bionis' Leg - "White Songbird - A poetic name given by Shulk. Makes a fresh sound in the breeze."
colony 6 - "Verdant Eternity - Shulk mulled over this for ages. A leaf that never withers.
Makna FOrest - Gravel Disk - Shulk was guessing what this was. Not unlike a mirror of gravel.
Alcamoth - Thunder Atmos - Shulk really wanted to name this. A half-ball that booms when thrown.
Valak Mountain - Shulk was shivering as he named it. No one knows if it's ice or glass.
Fallen Arm - Summer Star - Shulk named this admiringly. So tangy it makes you laugh.
- RE: grandfathers, "He'd already passed away when I was born, so I never knew him."
- when talking to kids (Nopon ones?) sometimes he'll imitate their speech pattern? "No. I can't take your grampypon away from you."
Reyn
- has been protecting Shulk since forever
- man he loves Giorgio's curry (often gets larger helpings at no extra cost)
Fiora
- gives leftover food to a certain unnamed blue nopon
UNSORTED
- the monado emits a particular ether wavelength in its ground state
- hahahha riki apparently used to run the winch wheel in the pollen works
-
Shulk: You're researching ancient ruins? Before we set out on this journey, I was doing research too. So I think I really know how you feel.
Ruthan: Oh really? So you're a scientist, eh? Hahaha! Forgive me, but you really don't look like one!
Shulk: We have been travelling for a long time, and it's been tough too. Maybe I'm getting too buffed up? No, never mind that! Please tell us more about your research.
Shulk: The glow of the lamps is so bright, I thought they were ether crystals. So they're made from pollen...
Dobadoba: Nopon are experts at using the gifts from Makna. [or something like this??]
Shulk: Do you use anything other than pollen to work the lamps?
Dobadoba: That is top-secret, nosy friend! If I told you, I lose my job!
Shulk: Are you sure you can't? I'm really curious now!
Shulk: A top secret document? Are you sure you want to ask us to deliver it? Surely there must be someone more trustworthy.
Daza: Daza trust you friends more than anybody in the whole wide world! Daza only can ask friends to do such important job!
Shulk: I'm glad to hear that but...
Daza: No time to stand around chatting!
Shulk: This is all very sudden. What will you give your friends?
Batubatu: Batubatu make something when you bring egg and mushroom. Then I give to friends!
Shulk: Sounds like a good idea. I'm sure they'll be happy.
Shulk: About Leku...
Lupa: How do friends know that I like Leku? Friends able to read my mind using powers of ancient Giants? What do friends say? Leku looking for a girlfriend? Cannot just become girlfriend. That in very bad taste. Must start out as friends. It right and proper! It traditional Nopon custom for which I have great respect.
Shulk: Traditional Nopon custom?
Lupa: Bring some Royal Apis Nectar. It will serve as an offering to cement the bonds of friendship.
Melia: (Shulk... Seeing you so happy... I know not why, but it makes me feel warm.)
Shulk: What's wrong, Melia?! You're kinda staring.
RE: Ether plant
Shulk: Do you want us to help you? This is an amazing machine. I'd love to learn more about it.
Jarack: It must seem amazing to your people. But it is not a recent creation. It has been here a very long time.
Shulk: High Entia technology is all so fascinating. It still looks brand-new and works perfectly even after so much time. Ah... although it is broken now.
Riki: Let's dance a Nopon dance!
Shulk: (A Nopon dance? I wonder what that would go like...)
Shulk: If it is the silver Face making that noise, we can't ignore it. It's scaring the villagers so we have to go and check it out.
Prox: What's that about a silver Face? Well, whatever.
Fiora: I know how painful it is to be separated from someone. Is there anything we can do? I want to help any way I can.
Zarkort: Thanks for the thought. But what I need may be pretty difficult to do.
Fiora: I won't know if you don't tell me. What is it?
Shulk: It's been a while since I made anything... I hope I've not lost my touch 'cos here goes nothing!
Shulk: I've done it! And it works even better than I thought it would. I'd better get this to Rono.
Shulk: He didn't learn his lesson the first time, you know? Isn't there some other way you can both be friends again?
Deki: Ababa is still young, so he is bound to hate the bitter taste. Deki thinks this is the best way of teaching him a lesson.
Shulk: Yuck! Just thinking about eating bugs gives me goosebumps!
Fiora: Argh!
Medi: What's up? Don't tell me you have a toothache?
Fiora: I was getting some work done on my teeth when I... Well, I ended up with this body. Hold on! My toothache is gone!
Medi: I can see you're not quite a Hom Hom... Do you mind if I examine you?
Fiora: No need! No need! There is nothing wrong with me!
Shulk: OK, OK. We'll go talk to them and sort it out for you. I don't really know anything about parents arguing, but OK.
Mixik: Good. A family shouldn't argue as much as we do. It's not right.
Shulk: I agree. Someone needs to talk to your parents about the keepsake.
Mixik: Yeah, that's right. So, could you talk to my mum and dad about it?
Rakzet: Even if Homs can go in the water, it's best not to go too far out to sea. The concentrated ether out there means one mistake can be deadly.
Arnaut: Mysterious charm, big old brain... Let me know if the other residents realise what I realise. Although they probably just want to see a famous person up close!
Arnaut: Shulk - Colony 9's superstar scientist! If there's anyone who can find out what the Monado is, it's him.
Desiree: I really need some advice. Actually, no, don't worry. Really it's Shulk I'd like to speak to.
--
Desiree: Shulk... You've been doing a lot of good deeds lately. The helpless and the hopeless alike... You fixed their problems. I'm not exactly that desperate, but I am a bit lost at the moment. It's been a year now. I need to decide what I'm doing with my life.
Shulk: That doesn't sound good.
Desiree: I'm so confused. It's really been getting to me recently. Can I ask your advice?
Shulk: I know you're bad with machines, but you can do other things. You don't need to worry.
Desiree: It's not just about money. I sold my dad's shop, and that's left me in an OK situation for now. Wait, that's not what I wanted to talk about! Come on, Shulk! Listen to me!
Desiree: Thanks. This could be a bit of a long chat, so bear that in mind.
Desiree: I know I'm always wandering out here at night. But it's not just for the sake of it. I have a good reason. I'm mulling over my future. I'm mulling as hard as I can, in the hope that I'll figure it all out. Narrowing down the options is so difficult. It's taken about the same amount of time you've spent fighting. If you'll let me tell you about it, we could both take a short break!
Shulk: That's fine with me.
Desiree: It is? Thanks! You always do make such a good listener. I've got to a point where I've narrowed it down to two options. But now I can't decide between them! I've spent forever thinking it over. I just can't know for sure which one would suit me best. I think I'll go crazy unless someone helps me choose!
Shulk: I can see the problem.
Desiree: I knew you would! Anyway, next time we chat I'll tell you all the details.
Desiree: OK, so... The first career path I'm considering is the Defence Force. Don't tell me! Your first thought was: Her? A soldier? No way! Well, think again. I'm actually a really good shot. The lieutenant even told me I'd soon be an expert if I signed up! But there are some drawbacks. One, fighting is really dangerous. Fine, that one's a bit obvious. Two... I'm very bad with machines. What if it turns out I can't service my gun properly? I won't even be able to train! But if it works out, I could do all right for myself. The pay is good, and I think I'd enjoy the lifestyle.
Shulk: There are definitely some good arguments on both sides. Do you mind if I think it over?
Desiree: Not at all. I've certainly spent long enough doing that!
Desiree: Right. The other career path I might try to go down is... Being a sculptor. Don't laugh! I've got a budding interest in it. I carved a pendant out of wood. I wouldn't say I'm that good yet, but it's so much fun. I could become Kenny Rohan's pupil and learn properly. There are problem with this option too though. One, it doesn't pay very well. At all. Two, it's not exactly the most social of activities. I'd probably have nobody to talk to all day but my own sculptures. Possibly not the best career path if I'm trying to land a man! But I do enjoy it a lot.
[Blah blah blah generic party chatter]
Desiree: Do you mind!? I know my explanation is a bit long-winded and annoying. But that's just because it matters so much to me. Let's take a deep breath and carry on. I'm nearly finished.
Desiree: Realistically, I'm sure I'd be able to do either job. I have an innate ability for one and a keen interest in the other. I guess there's no wrong answer. They'll both have ups and downs. But that's exactly why it's so hard to decide! You pick for me instead.
Shulk: Me? But it's your life we're talking about. Your entire life.
Desiree: Don't worry! I won't hold a grudge against you. In fact, I won't have any regrets. Whatever you decide, I'll do it and never look back. But there's no hurry. I'll wait until you've thought about it properly.
Desiree: OK, Shulk. Which career path do you think would suit me best?
Shulk: > Soldier.
Desiree: You think I'd make a good soldier? It would feel nice to be able to protect people. Maybe I'll even find a nice soldier boy! That part's just between us. Becoming a soldier could set me up for life. Good idea!
Shulk: You're welcome, but I don't think I actually did anything.
Desiree: Oh, stop being so pessimistic! You gave me the push I needed!
Shulk: Now I sort of wish I hadn't. What if it all goes wrong?
Desiree: You worry too much, Shulk! It'll be fine, I guarantee. I never realised before, but you're pessimistic as well sometimes. I think it's nice in a way. It shows how kind and caring you are. But most of the time it's still better to be confident in yourself.
Shulk: You're right. But you should remember to take your own advice, Desiree.
Desiree: True. I really have to do my best in my new career. Otherwise I'll be eroding your self-confidence as well as mine! That's all the motivation I need. So... thanks for everything!
[Interestingly the quest milestones are:
- Listen to Desiree's long story.
- Challenge yourself to listen to Desiree's long and boring story.
- Try not to fall asleep while listening to Desiree's story.
- Make it look like you enjoy listening to Desiree's long story.
A broken watch, quest
[shulk not party leader]
Desiree: Oh, fiddlesticks.
Desiree: I was really hoping I could ask Shulk for a favour.
Desiree: Why is he never around?
[shulk in party leader]
Desiree: Oh, Shulk, there you are! I've been looking everywhere for you!
Desiree: I've broken my watch. Look, it's in pieces!
Desiree: I'm terrible with machines. Even little ones like this.
Desiree: Would you mind fixing it for me?
Shulk: You don't have to be good with machines to be careful with them.
Shulk: You just have to be careful.
Shulk: Wasn't your father good with machines?
Shulk: I'd have thought fixing things'd be the first thing he'd teach you.
Desiree: Not just good, he was amazing!
Desiree: When I was little I used to marvel at how he swung that hammer.
Desiree: But he's gone now. And as hard as I try, I can't be like he was.
Shulk: I'm... I'm sorry, Desiree. I didn't mean to be rude.
Desiree: Aww, it's so easy to make you go all timid!
Desiree: Seriously, don't worry about it.
Desiree: It's been a year since then. I'm back on my feet.
Desiree: Anyway, are you going to fix my watch or not?
[Quest popup]
Desiree: Brilliant! I'll leave it in your capable hands.
Shulk: It's in pretty bad shape.
Shulk: I'll have to use the equipment in the lab, so it might take a while.
[talk to her as shulk]
Desiree: How' my watch looking? You didn't forget, did you?
[talk to her as someone else]
Desiree: I asked Shulk for a favour.
Desiree: I wonder how far he's getting on with it?
[repair]
Shulk: (Bad news about Desiree's Watch. It's worse than I thought.)
Shulk: (I haven't got the right parts. I need three Blue Chains.)
[repair]
Shulk: (Great. I can fix it now.)
Shulk: (It's working perfectly now.)
Shulk: (Desiree will be glad.)
[complete]
Desiree: You fixed it?!
Desiree: Thanks, Shulk!
Desiree: I'll take much better care of it from now on, I promise!
[party chatter]
Desiree: Shulk... What would you say if I told you I broke it on purpose?
Desiree: So I had an excuse to talk to you?
Desiree: Kidding! Kidding!
Desiree: Come on, calm down. I was only joking.
Desiree: Anyway, thanks again. You're so reliable!
The Key to a Long Life
Dionysis: Hey there, young'un.
Dionysis: Care to lend an ear to the oldest person in Colony 9?
[party chatter]
Dionysis: It's the same old problem. You know what I'm on about.
Dionysis: My back's playing up again.
Dionysis: I suppose you know what I need. Bring my some Medicinal Brog Oil.
Dionysis: That stuff works a treat on my old back.
Reyn: You look fitter than anyone, gramps!
Reyn: You exercise every day, don't you?
Dionysis: I just endure the pain and take a smile like I'm hunky-dory.
Dionysis: Please, help an old man get back on his feet, won't you?
[quest objectives]
Dionysis: Thanks for that, young'un. It means a lot to this old timer.
Dionysis: You can get Medicinal Brog Oil from the Brogs around here.
[party chatter]
Education-Minded Suzanna
Suzanna: Maybe you can help.
Suzanna: Do you know a way I can get my son to like studying?
[party chatter]
Suzanna: It's terrible. He just spends all his time playing and never studies.
Suzanna: It won't be long before he's falling behind at school.
Suzanna: I know! How about using sweets as a reward?
Suzanna: That should work. He just needs an incentive.
Suzanna: Do you think you could bring some Black Nectar for me?
Shulk: That should do the trick. It's important to aim for something.
Suzanna: Well if you think it'll work. You know about studying!
[New Quest]
Suzanna: I need two lots of Black Nectar to make some sweets.
Suzanna: Hurry back!
[party chatter]
Biscuits for a Grandson
Marcia: Deary me... My grandsons are having quite the altercation!
Marcia: And now to get the upper hand they are both in training.
[party chatter]
Marcia: Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous? I certainly haven't.
Marcia: I do hope the younger of the two wins, though.
Marcia: He is my flesh and blood, after all.
Marcia: That's why I'd like someone to take him the biscuits I've made.
Marcia: It might encourage him to train harder!
Fiora: Why do you want the younger one to win? They're both family.
Marcia: Oh, that's right, Fiora... You wouldn't know.
Marcia: Anyway, that's our business. I shouldn't have said anything.
Marcia: In any case, would you mind helping me with this?
[New Quest]
Marcia: I'm most grateful. My legs aren't what they used to be, you see.
Marcia: Even getting to the Residential District is awkward.
Marcia: I'll make you some biscuits.
[Party Chatter]
Marcia: Make sure my grandson gets those biscuits. All of them, preferably.
Lonely Niranira
Niranira: Mmm... Niranira want a friend!
Niranira: Not many Nopon in colony so Niranira has no friend to play with.
[Party chatter]
Niranira: Thank you, thank you!
Niranira: There a Homs boy called Lukas. Niranira want be friends with him.
Reyn: Can't you make friends yourself?
Niranira; No. Niranira too scared to.
Reyn: I'm trying to encourage ya, kid!
Reyn: Never mind. Guess we can help.
Niranira: Niranira wrote letter but too afraid to give it to him myself.
Niranira: P-please, can you take for me?
[New Quest]
Niranira: Niranira waiting for you.
[party chatter]
Niranira: And don't read letter!
(Decline)
Niranira: Niranira so lonely...
Niranira: Niranira always be alone...
[talk to lukas]
Lukas: What do you want?
Lukas: A letter? From who?
Lukas: Niranira? I'll read it now.
[after reading]
Lukas: Tell Niranira I wanna be friends with him!
Lukas: I always wanted a Nopon friend. This should be really fun!
[talk to niranira]
Niranira: Lukas read Niranira's letter?
Niranira: Lukas such nice boy to agree to be Niranira's friend!
[Party chatter]
Niranira: Thank you! Niranira go play now.
A Young Captain's Request
Emmy Leater: Are you the interfering do-gooder that everyone's been talking about?
Emmy Leater: I've got a big favour to ask you. Could you find Miller for me?
[Party chatter]
Emmy Leater: He's a habitual slacker and I just don't know what to do with him.
Emmy Leater: He always runs away as soon as he sees me coming.
Emmy Leater: I haven't so much as spoken a word to him lately.
Emmy Leater: He's the only subordinate I have, so I can't just ignore him.
Reyn: Good to see our young captain hasn't changed!
Emmy Leater: Reyn! You look like you need some work!
Emmy Leater: Surely you can help me out.
Reyn: You asking for help again?!
Reyn: You have to do this stuff yourself sometimes.
Emmy Leater: I know, but you know how fast Miller can run, don't you?
Emmy Leater: He can get away from me in three seconds. I need your help.
[new quest]
Emmy Leater: Thank you.
Emmy Leater: I'll be sure to reward you when you find him.
A Curry Conundrum
Giorgio: Ugh, it tastes awful.
Giorgio: At this rate, my curry ain't gonna be famous, it's gonna be infamous!
[Party Chatter]
Giorgio: It's life or death, mate.
Giorgio: My curry's key ingredient is Dance Apples. They give it the flavour.
Giorgio: But my supply's almost run out.
Giorgio: Problem is, I'm too busy here to go and get any!
Reyn: But you can't stop making it! I'd die if I couldn't eat your curry!
Reyn: Plus, you don't charge extra for a bigger helping.
Giorgio: You... You really like my curry?
Giorgio: Well, thanks, mate!
Giorgio: So... you don't mind helping me out? I'll make it worth your while!
[new quest]
Giorgio: You really don't mind?!
Giorgio: This is such a big help. I owe you big time!
Rocco's Heartful Request
Rocco: You like solving problems, don't you? Well, I've got a whopper!
Rocco: I broke my mum's pendant. She loves it so much. Dad gave her it!
Rocco: Now Mum's super angry and keeps making horrible mush for dinner.
[Party chatter]
Rocco: If I don't eat some real food and fast, my tongue's gonna fall off!
Rocco: I've tried to find someone who can fix my mum's pendant.
Rocco: But no one in the Residential District can do it.
Rocco: I can't walk very far on my own, so can you find someone instead?
Shulk: I think Dean should be able to help. He works at the lab.
Rocco: Really? Thanks, Shulk! Does that mean you'll ask him for me?
[new quest]
{}{}{}
Decline
[-4 hearts]
Reyn: Sorry. I've got a lotta stuff on at the moment.
Shulk: Reyn, you're not yourself today.
Reyn: Sorry 'bout that...
Reyn: Sorry. I've got a lotta stuff on at the moment.
Fiora: Reyn, that's really cold of you.
Firoa: Not getting at you. Just saying.
Reyn: Eh... it's fair enough.
Decline
[-4 hearts]
Shulk: Sorry. I'm a little busy right now.
Reyn: Shulk! What are you doing? Let's help 'em already!
Shulk: Now isn't a good time. I'm sorry.
Shulk: Sorry. I'm a little busy right now.
Reyn: So even you have times like this?
Shulk: Sorry. I'm a little busy right now.
Fiora: Shulk! Come on! Let's help them!
Shulk: Sorry.
Fiora: Sorry. I'll help you next time, OK?
Reyn: Hey, what was that all about? You're just gonna walk off?
Fiora: I can't do everything, you know?
Fiora: Sometimes you get days like this!
Fiora: Sorry. I'll help you next time, OK?
Shulk: What's with you all of a sudden?
Shulk: You're not going to help them?
Fiora: Sorry. Now isn't a good time.
Party dialogue
[Reyn leader]
[pre-quest]
[4 ♥s]
Reyn: I'm all ears!
Shulk: Reyn's got a hero complex. He just has to help people!
Reyn: Hey! Don't make fun of me!
Reyn: I'm just askin' what's up!
Reyn: I'm all ears!
Fiora: Reyn! Be more polite!
Fiora: Sorry about that. Reyn often forgets his manners.
Reyn: Hey! I'm supposed to be the tough guy!
Reyn: Anyway... What's the matter?
Reyn: That's a bit of a pain.
Fiora: Why are you acting cool, Reyn? We know you're panicking inside.
Reyn: I ain't acting! I'm just thinking about what we should do!
Reyn: That's a bit of a pain.
Shulk: Reyn, which is worse? This, or arguing with me?
Reyn: You know what?
Reyn: I can't decide which one is more of a pain, so let's get this sorted!
Reyn: That's a bit of a pain.
Shulk: Yeah. That's bad.
Reyn: What is it?
Reyn: You're looking down in the dumps.
Shulk: Reyn, you think so too? Looks like something is bothering them.
Reyn: Yeah. We can't just leave 'em. Let's ask what's up.
Reyn: What is it?
Reyn: You're looking down in the dumps.
Fiora: Reyn, you're really concerned about other people now!
Fiora: You're really maturing!
Reyn: That's pretty patronising y'know? But I'm glad I'm improving.
Reyn: Anyway, let's see what's up.
[post quest]
[2 ♥s]
Reyn: No sweat! We'll be done before ya know it!
Shulk: We'll sort this for definite!
Reyn: No sweat! We'll be done before ya know it!
Shulk: That's the spirit, Reyn!
Reyn: I'm gonna be needing your help 'n' all, Shulk!
Reyn: No sweat! We'll be done before ya know it!
Fiora: Yeah! Let's give it our all!
Reyn: Well, that's that.
Shulk: Looks like it got sorted!
Reyn: Well, that's that.
Shulk: Yeah! All that hard work and effort was worth it!
Reyn: Hah! Dunno 'bout you guys but I didn't even break a sweat!
Reyn: Well, that's that.
Fiora: Reyn, I'm impressed! You do have what it takes!
Reyn: Oi oi oi! Don't be shy!
Reyn: Just say it straight: 'Reyn, you're the man!' Like that.
[4 ♥s]
Reyn: No sweat! We'll be done before ya know it!
Shulk: That's the spirit, Reyn!
Reyn: I'm gonna be needing you help 'n' all, Shulk!
Reyn: No sweat! We'll be done before ya know it!
Fiora: Hahahaha! Reyn, you really get carried away!
Fiora: But I'm gonna try just as hard as you!
Reyn: Heh heh! Think you can keep up with Reyn time, Fiora?
[shulk]
[pre quest]
[4 ♥s]
Shulk: Sounds like you've got a problem.
Reyn: You're not gettin' us mixed up in someone else's problems again?!
Reyn: You're too soft, you are! Still, Shulk's gotta be Shulk!
Shulk: Reyn! I know you want to help just as much as I do!
Shulk: So, let's hear what's up.
Shulk: Sounds like you've got a problem.
Fiora: Let's hear them out, Shulk. They might need our help.
Shulk: I think you're right, Fiora.
Shulk: So... Tell us what the problem is.
[post quest]
[4 ♥s]
Shulk: I'm glad everything worked out.
Fiora: That's great, Shulk! You really did a good job!
Shulk: Well I had you to help!
[Fiora]
[Pre quest]
[4 hearts]
Fiora: Hey?
Fiora: What's up? A bit of trouble?
Reyn: You're pretty sharp, Fiora! There's definitely something up!
Reyn: Let's try and get some more info.
Fiora: (A compliment? From Reyn? Maybe I had him all wrong...)
Fiora: Hey?
Fiora: What's up? A bit of trouble?
Shulk: It's true. There's definitely something bothering them.
Fiora: You think so too, Shulk?
Fiora: Let's ask what's wrong.
Fiora: Hey?
Fiora: What's up? A bit of trouble?
Shulk: Is something the matter? We can help you!
Reyn: Am I good or am I good?
Shulk: That is so you, Reyn.
Fiora: Hehe, you two never change.
Defense Force Soldier: Did you know about Dunban and Mumkhar?
Defense Force Soldier: They competed against each other to be the one to use the Monado.
Defense Force Soldier: In the end, Dunban won.
Defense Force Soldier: Mumkhar was always so angry after that.
Defense Force Soldier: I guess he'd be using it now if he was still alive.
Defense Force Soldier: Dunban can't handle it anymore.
Paola: Yay, it's Reyn!
Paola: Come on, let's hang out!
Reyn: Hands are full right now, Paola.
Reyn: But you'll get some quality Reyn time later. Promise!
Paola: You'd better promise!
Paola: Even though you forget every promise you ever make...
Paola: Narine fancies Shuuulk! Narine fancies Shuuulk!
Paola: Isn't it gross?
Paola: Ooops, I mean... She's gross, not Shulk!
Paola: Reyn's the only boy for me. He's way cuter than Shulk!
Paola: I'm gonna marry him when I grow up. I hope he waits for me!
Narine: Shulk's way better than that Reyn!
Narine: I just don't get why Paola likes Reyn more than Shulk...
Narine: Reyn's like... big, stupid and scary!
Narine: Kinda like an Armu. Hahaha!
Narine: You understand me, right?
some notes:

Also, to note, the translation to the story that was printed in Monad: The Secret Files can be found here.
General Universe Notes
Area Notes
Character Notes
[new quest]

Decline
